Martim Vasques
MARTIM VASQUESIn 1438 Martim Vasques succeeded master Huguet, with whom he worked, as master- builder of the Monastery of Batalha.
He also worked in Alcobaça.
The exact date of his death is uncertain but he is thought to have died between September 1442 and August 1448.
He was succeeded by his nephew, Fernão d’ Évora.
